Dimensions:
This cane is 28 inches long and approximately 1-1/8" in diameter, however as this is a natural product, you should expect a variance of + or - 1/8" and it will be thicker at the top than at the bottom.
To clean, use a Lysol wipe and allow to air dry before returning to your toy bag. See our bamboo care guide below to keep your cane for years!
Bamboo Guarantee:
All bamboo is guaranteed to be crooked - not straight. Some poles are nearly straight and we do our best to straighten them.
All bamboo is guaranteed to be a different color from the last time you bought it and from other rattan in stock.
All bamboo is guaranteed to taper and the amount of taper will vary from pole to pole.
All bamboo is guaranteed to split without proper care. We do not ship split poles, but it may occur over time. For ideas on how to reduce splitting, please see our suggested bamboo care below.
Bamboo Care:
Bamboo is a natural reed, not a hard or soft wood. It will require regular soaking to prevent splitting. For toy longevity, it is suggested that you soak the canes in water for 30 minutes once a month for drier climates and less often for more humid climates. All of our handles will withstand a water soaking. NOTE: Since bamboo is a reed, it may also change shape when it is soaked or when it is in a high humidity environment. This changing of shape is normal and will not harm the toy's effectiveness in any way. To straighten it, simply tie it evenly to a rod (shower curtain rods work well) while wet and allow to stay there for several hours.
